PRAYER OF PRAISE

Hebrew name for God: El·Emet /el em-et/ noun God of Truth

You are Truth. In contrast to the world’s truth, Your Truth is firm, absolute, always the same and can never not be true. Your Word expresses the recorded Truth, Jesus embodies Truth in human form, and the Holy Spirit continually guides me into Truth. I praise You for the certainty of Your rock solid promises and the confidence they provide.

PERSONAL PRAYER

love of God’s word

Give me joy and assurance in knowing that Your words are trustworthy and true. Let Your Word dwell in my heart day and night. May I find sweet delight and great reward as I obey Your wise commands. Speak to me through Your Word, for I am listening.
